ABOUT

    The Drumbo Fire Station is one of four fire stations consisting of the Blandford-Blenheim Fire Department. The station is comprised of 16 members which includes a Deputy Chief, Two Captains, and 13 firefighters. Answering on average 135 calls per year, 60% of those on Highway 401.

     The Blandford-Blenheim Fire Department purchased an air bottle filling station which is housed at the Drumbo Fire Station. The filling station is used to refill air bottles used by the Townships firefighters where self contained breathing apparatus(SCBA) are required.

Firehall

The members of the Drumbo Fire Station meet twice a month to train on various areas such as, forcible entry, ladders, ropes & rigging, SCBA, pumper operations, first aid & CPR, search and rescue as well as many other areas that are required for the firefighters.

The members of the Drumbo Fire Station are volunteers. Which means many of them will be at work, at home with their families, or in bed when  the pager sounds. Besides answering alarms, the members of the Drumbo Fire Station participate in various community events such as the Drumbo Fair and Harvest Carnival Parade and maintaining an ice rink at the pavilion in the winter.
